What Makes us Special

Marist Brothers Linmeyer offers a well-rounded, values-driven education across Pre-School, Primary and High School, with a strong focus on nurturing each child’s potential.

  • In the Pre-School, learning is play-based and designed to spark creativity, curiosity and confidence. Caring teachers guide children through activities such as music, art, physical exercise, and early technology exposure. Therapy-supported sessions and programmes like Perfect Stroke Swimming promote both intellectual growth and essential life-skills, including water safety. A supportive aftercare centre provides meals, homework supervision, and space for relaxation.
  • The Primary School provides a safe, stimulating environment with a modern, adaptable curriculum. Students are encouraged to think critically, act with empathy, and develop respect for diverse cultures. Technology is integrated into learning through interactive tools and devices from Grade 6. Emotional well-being is prioritised through pastoral care, counselling, and enrichment opportunities such as outings, workshops and leadership tours. A broad cultural and sports programme ensures balanced development.
  • In the High School, students benefit from a nurturing yet academically rigorous environment. Specialist teachers deliver a strong curriculum supported by excellent IEB results and high tertiary success rates. Academic support and enrichment programmes help every learner reach their full potential. With advanced facilities, diverse subject choices, and extensive extracurricular and outreach opportunities, students are prepared to become confident, responsible individuals ready for life beyond school.

Across all phases, the school’s Catholic ethos promotes respect, compassion, and a lifelong love of learning.

Our Past, Present and Future

Marist Brothers Linmeyer proudly celebrates 60 years of belonging and excellence, marking a remarkable journey that began on 25 January 1966. Originally founded as Marian College under the leadership of Brother Christopher, the school welcomed 258 boys and set out to provide holistic education rooted in faith, community and personal growth. From these humble beginnings in Linmeyer, the school has grown into a vibrant and respected institution.

Over six decades, Marist Brothers Linmeyer has remained committed to nurturing well-rounded individuals. Its students have consistently excelled academically, on the sports field and in cultural pursuits, guided by values of discipline, compassion and integrity. The school’s emphasis on spiritual development and character formation continues to shape young people into grounded and responsible citizens.

Today, the school stands as a leading choice for families seeking a supportive and inspiring environment. A strong sense of belonging is at the heart of daily life—seen in meaningful relationships, shared traditions and a community where every student is encouraged to thrive.

The 60-year milestone was commemorated with a special Thanksgiving Mass, honouring the visionaries, educators, families and students who have contributed to the school’s legacy. As Marist Brothers Linmeyer looks to the future, it remains dedicated to excellence in all aspects of education, guided by its enduring Marist values.

Here’s to 60 years of belonging—and to many more ahead.
